Aneesoft iPad Converter Suite

Aneesoft iPad Converter Suite is a bundle of applications intended to extract DVD video or convert movies to iPad-compatible profiles.

The included programs are Aneesoft DVD to iPad Converter and Aneesoft iPad Video Converter. These applications share many characteristics, including similar interfaces. The only difference between them is the type of the supported sources.

On the one hand, Aneesoft DVD to iPad Converter is aimed to extract video from DVD. It supports either discs or DVD folders as sources. However, it does not allow extracting contents from ISO image files. On the other hand, Aneesoft iPad Video Converter supports importing a broad range of standard files. Both applications are equipped with various editing features, including trimming, watermarking, adding effects, cropping and merging. They also allow choosing an audio track or subtitles, when multiple streams are present.

Similarly, both applications coincide in their supported output range. Only iPad-compatible profiles are allowed, and even presets supported by other Apple gadgets are available. The profiles can be customized but not saved for later use.

Although this suite is installed from a single setup package and appears as a separate entry in Windows Uninstall, it will not be sensed as a unit. There is not even a desktop shortcut for the suite and, unlike other similar packages, there is not a welcome menu either.

All in all, Aneesoft iPad Converter Suite seems to be just a commercial strategy to sell two products as a bundle. Notice that the included applications can also be bought separately. It is for you to decide whether you actually need both of them, because buying this package will save you a few dollars.
